Woodland by Cecil K. is an original acrylic on paper painting with an overall framed size of 33.75 by 34 inches. Originally from Uzbekistan, Cecil went through a difficult time of emotional conflict upon arriving in the U.S. and found himself painting more often and with a greater depth than ever before. The artist started this painting, as he does all his artwork, by choosing the colors and shapes he wanted to use. He then takes just a pallet knife and seven base colors to create greatly emotional, colorful landscapes.
